Georgia Democrat Candidate Who Called for Trump’s Assassination ARRESTED in Multi-State Child Sex Trafficking Sting

Carl Sprayberry Charged with Human Trafficking in Operation “Lights Out”

Carl Sprayberry, a former Democrat candidate for Georgia’s 139th House District who infamously called for the assassination of President Donald Trump, has now been arrested and charged with human trafficking as part of a massive multi-state child sex trafficking sting.

The operation, dubbed “Operation Lights Out,” was conducted from April 25 to April 28 and resulted in the arrest of 19 suspects, including illegal aliens and foreign nationals, all accused of attempting to exploit minors through online sexual predation.

Sprayberry, 32, of Columbus, Georgia, had made headlines in early 2025 after posting shocking threats to former President Trump on social media. In one post, he stated:

“Donald Trump has committed an act of High Treason. Should Congress refuse to take action, he will be killed by the people, as per the Second Amendment’s existence.”

In a follow-up post, he went further, writing:

“It’s time to kill Trump.”

These terroristic threats, which openly encouraged violence against a former U.S. president, were shockingly ignored by the Biden-era Secret Service and DOJ. Sprayberry remained a free man—until now.

Massive Joint Operation Snags Multiple Traffickers

“Operation Lights Out” was spearheaded by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC). According to authorities, the sting targeted predators attempting to arrange sex with underage children after engaging in explicit online communication.

Those arrested face charges ranging from human trafficking to violations of Georgia’s Child Exploitation Prevention Act, and many have ICE detainers, indicating illegal immigration status or foreign origin.

Democrat Ties, Anti-Trump Hate, and Now Child Trafficking

Sprayberry’s political past and extremist rhetoric make his arrest especially disturbing. His hateful incitement toward President Trump should have resulted in immediate federal scrutiny, yet he remained active in Georgia’s progressive political circles—until this sting brought his alleged crimes to light.

His arrest, along with 18 others, underscores the real and ongoing threat posed by unchecked illegal immigration, political radicalization, and the rise of online exploitation networks.

The Real Question: Why Wasn’t He Already Behind Bars?

Sprayberry’s arrest has reignited national outrage over selective law enforcement, where conservatives face aggressive prosecution for speech, while leftist radicals who incite violence and allegedly commit horrific crimes are allowed to roam free—until caught red-handed in stings like this.

Justice has finally come—but it begs the question: How many others are still slipping through the cracks?

Operation Lights Out may have illuminated 19 suspects, but America demands more than exposure. It demands accountability, justice, and protection for our children.
