Indiana’s Chatterbox Jazz Club Ejects Patron for Wearing MAGA Hat

Indianapolis’ Chatterbox Jazz Club Under Fire for Kicking Out Trump Supporter Over MAGA Hat

The Chatterbox Jazz Club in Indianapolis is facing a major backlash after a viral video surfaced showing a bartender aggressively ejecting a customer for wearing a red “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat.

The shocking footage, initially posted by Elise Hensley and later amplified by social media influencer Jessie Lawrence (Mr. Holistic), captures a heated exchange in which the bartender makes it clear that the patron is being removed solely for supporting Donald Trump.

Bartender: “Get Out of My Bar Right Now”

In the explosive video, the bartender appears hostile from the outset, refusing to give any reason other than the customer’s support for Trump:

Bartender: “No, we’re not answering questions. Get out of my bar right now.”
Customer: “Why? Why?”
Bartender: “Because you’re a Trump supporter.”
Customer: “I know, but don’t you guys want our money?”
Bartender: “No, actually, we don’t. Get out of my bar right now. You’re not welcome. I’m not messing around—get out of my bar.”
Customer: “Are you serious?”
Bartender: “I’m dead serious. Out.”
Customer: “Because I’m wearing a Trump Hat?”
Bartender: “Yes, that’s why. I don’t care. Get out.”
Bartender: “We can call the police, or you can just leave.”
Customer: “You know that this is like discrimination, right?”
Bartender: “Discrimination? Oh, boohoo. Boo freaking hoo. Get out of my bar.”

Chatterbox’s Tone-Deaf Response: Playing the Victim

After the outrage erupted, Chatterbox Jazz Club issued a defensive statement, attempting to spin the situation rather than address the clear bias against the Trump supporter.

Rather than apologizing for kicking out a paying customer over political beliefs, the club accused the patron of harassment, even though the video evidence tells a different story.

Chatterbox Statement:

“On Friday, March 14th, a group of individuals visited Chatterbox and intentionally misgendered and harassed a Chatterbox employee, resulting in them being asked to leave by our staff.

They then continued verbally assaulting our patrons and staff, threatened our establishment, and returned to record a video which has now been posted on multiple social media platforms.

The Chatterbox is home to a diverse group of staff and patrons. We do not tolerate dehumanizing or disrespectful language or symbolism in our establishment. We have a right, by law, to refuse service to anyone who disrupts our business.

We look forward to continuing to be a home for people who love music and appreciate our community.”

The statement completely ignores the viral video evidence showing the bartender clearly saying the sole reason for ejecting the customer was support for Trump.

The Hypocrisy: “Diversity” but Not for Trump Supporters

The Chatterbox Jazz Club claims to be a “diverse and inclusive” space—yet, they explicitly banned someone based on their political beliefs.

This raises serious questions about the double standard at play:

🔥 Would the Chatterbox kick someone out for wearing a Biden hat?
🔥 Would a BLM or LGBTQ+ supporter be thrown out for their beliefs?
🔥 Why do businesses that claim to be “inclusive” only tolerate one ideology?

This isn’t the first time conservatives have been discriminated against in public spaces—but it’s another blatant example of how Trump supporters are being openly targeted in Biden’s America.

Legal Implications: Is This Political Discrimination?

This incident could spark legal action, as some argue the bartender’s actions constitute discrimination based on political beliefs.

🚨 Indiana law does not explicitly protect political beliefs under anti-discrimination statutes, but some legal experts argue that if a business denies service selectively, it could face civil lawsuits.

🚨 Similar cases have been filed in other states, with mixed results depending on the legal protections for political speech.

What’s Next for Chatterbox? Will Boycotts Follow?

Given the massive backlash on social media, Chatterbox could face boycotts from Trump supporters and free speech advocates.

The power of consumer choice means businesses that discriminate against conservatives often face financial consequences—just look at the Bud Light disaster.

🔥 Will conservatives stop supporting Chatterbox Jazz Club?
🔥 Will Chatterbox issue a real apology, or double down?

One thing is clear: Americans are fed up with the hypocrisy of businesses that claim “inclusivity” while pushing out those who don’t align with their radical ideology.
