Kid Rock, outspoken musician and longtime supporter of President Donald Trump, unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against the mainstream media after what he described as a “highly positive” and “historic” private dinner between Trump, liberal commentator Bill Maher, UFC President Dana White, and himself.
Despite the surprising nature of the meeting—and its tone of civility between political opposites—the media remained largely silent, a fact that infuriated Kid Rock. Taking to social media, he accused legacy outlets of intentionally burying the story simply because it reflected positively on Trump.
“This is something, no matter what your politics are, it should be a positive thing for our country,” Kid Rock said in the now-viral video. “But none of these motherfers can say anything about it? That tells you everything you need to know about these people. They’re fing retarded.”
He blasted networks like CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC for refusing to cover the story, accusing their executives and anchors of pushing a divisive agenda.
“You sit there and read off your prompter or call yourself a ‘journalist’ — you have no f***ing backbone. Most of you know this helps our country. But I guess it paints Trump in a good light, so you won’t touch it.”
He emphasized that he didn’t care about personal recognition but saw the media’s blackout as another act of partisan sabotage.
“I could care less about the accolades… But this was something positive for our country. And you all chose to ignore it.”
