White House Adviser Mike Waltz: Iran Must Fully Dismantle Nuclear Program, Trump Cracking Down on Terrorism and Illegal Gangs
Iran’s Nuclear Program: “All Options on the Table”
White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz made it clear on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday that the Trump administration is taking a hardline stance against Iran’s nuclear ambitions and Iran-backed militias.
During his interview with host Margaret Brennan, Waltz emphasized that President Trump is committed to ensuring that Iran gives up its nuclear program completely in a way that is fully verifiable by the world.
“Full dismantlement. Iran has to give up its program in a way that the entire world can see,” Waltz said.
“As President Trump has said, this is coming to a head. All options are on the table, and it is time for Iran to walk away completely from its desire to have a nuclear weapon.”
Hitting Iran’s Proxies Hard
Waltz also provided an update on U.S. military operations against Iran-backed Houthis, who have been launching attacks on Israel and international trade routes.
“We have taken out key Houthi leadership. We’ve hit their headquarters, communications nodes, weapons factories, and even some of their over-the-water drone production facilities just in the last couple of days.
President Trump has decided to hit the Houthis, and hit them hard.”
He stressed that keeping sea lanes open and protecting global commerce is a top national security priority.
“The last administration was not effective,” Waltz remarked, referring to Biden’s failed policies in the region.

Crackdown on Tren de Aragua: Trump Uses Alien Enemies Act to Deport Gang Members
Beyond the Middle East, President Trump is escalating efforts to remove dangerous illegal alien criminals from the U.S., particularly targeting the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua—one of the most notorious and violent criminal organizations operating in America.
Trump’s Use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act
Waltz confirmed that the Trump administration is invoking the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport dangerous gang members who are acting as proxies for the Maduro regime in Venezuela.
“President Trump has determined that this group is acting as a terrorist organization. It is terrorizing our communities.”
“The Alien Enemies Act fully applies because we have also determined that this group is acting as a proxy with the Maduro regime.”
🚨 Key Takeaway: District court judges will not be allowed to interfere with Trump’s national security measures.
“We cannot have district judges interfering with the Commander-in-Chief’s actions to take care of, in the way he deems necessary, a terrorist organization,” Waltz said.

Trump’s America First Agenda in Action
The Biden administration’s failures allowed illegal immigration, terrorist proxies, and rising crime to spiral out of control. Now, President Trump is aggressively reversing course by:
✅ Hitting Iran-backed militias hard to restore deterrence in the Middle East
✅ Forcing Iran to completely dismantle its nuclear program or face severe consequences
✅ Deporting violent illegal alien criminals, including members of Tren de Aragua
✅ Stopping activist judges from obstructing law enforcement
America is back on track, and the world is taking notice.
