RFK Jr. Joins Trump to Shatter Big Pharma’s Grip: ‘One Lobbyist for Every Lawmaker in D.C.

RFK Jr. and President Trump Unite to Take Down Big Pharma with Historic Drug Pricing Order

In a fiery and unexpected display of political unity, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stood beside President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday to mark the signing of the “Most Favored Nation” Executive Order—a landmark move aimed at dismantling the pharmaceutical cartel’s stranglehold on American health care.

The executive order, which ties U.S. drug prices to the lower rates paid by foreign countries, is expected to slash prescription costs by up to 80%, according to administration estimates. But beyond the dollars and cents, the moment symbolized something far greater: a full-scale assault on one of Washington’s most untouchable power blocs—Big Pharma.

RFK Jr., now serving as Secretary of Health and Human Services, didn’t mince words as he tore into the corporate and political corruption that has made American drug prices the highest in the world.

“There’s at least one pharmaceutical lobbyist for every Congressman, every Senator, and every Supreme Court Justice—by some estimates, more,” Kennedy declared. “Congress is owned by this industry.”

Kennedy blasted establishment Democrats for making hollow promises on drug pricing for decades, only to fold under pressure—or campaign contributions—once in office. He credited Trump as the first President with the “intestinal fortitude” to actually confront the oligarchs head-on.

“President Trump took $100 million from Big Pharma—but he still couldn’t be bought,” RFK Jr. said. “He’s proving he’s on the side of the American people, not the pharmaceutical elite.”

Kennedy noted the lopsided global burden placed on American taxpayers, highlighting that the U.S.—just 4.2% of the world’s population—accounts for 75% of global pharma revenue. Americans pay $1,126 per capita on drugs, while the British spend only $240.

The new policy not only ends this subsidy—it puts global drugmakers and foreign governments on notice: pay your share, or lose access to the world’s most profitable market.

RFK Jr. said the moment brought his own children to tears—lifelong Bernie Sanders supporters—because they never believed any president would take real action.

“We finally have a President who’s willing to stand up for the American people,” he said.

This alliance between Trump and Kennedy may be one of the most unexpected and disruptive coalitions in modern politics—but it’s sending shockwaves through the pharmaceutical lobby and its puppets in both parties.

For the first time in decades, the American people may no longer be the world’s cash cow.
