A new report from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) has ignited backlash after suggesting that the phrase “Christ is King” has been appropriated by extremist groups on social media.
The study specifically mentions conservative commentator Jack Posobiec, noting that while his usage of the phrase is neutral and free of offensive content, it still questions the underlying meaning of the expression.

Posobiec vehemently rejected the report’s insinuations, arguing that “Christ is King” is a long-standing Christian declaration of faith with no political or extremist connotations.
