Lawfare and Retaliation: Detectives Target O’Keefe Journalist After State Farm Exec Exposed for Anti-White Bias and Insurance Scandal

The fallout from an explosive undercover investigation by O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) is intensifying. Just weeks after State Farm’s now-former Vice President of Innovation, Haden Kirkpatrick, was caught on undercover footage making racially discriminatory hiring comments and mocking wildfire victims, detectives reportedly arrived at the home of the OMG undercover journalist involved in the sting.

State Farm Exec Admits to Racial Bias, Market Manipulation

In the damning footage, Haden Kirkpatrick made a series of outrageous and racially charged statements:

  • Mocking fire victims in Los Angeles’ Palisades region, calling them egotistical for building homes in “a tinderbox.”
  • Admitting that climate change has made wildfires predictable, and that State Farm knew the risks while maintaining policies they would later cancel.
  • Boasting that he directed HR to exclude white candidates from employment in favor of building a “2040 workforce” dominated by “more Hispanic and Latinos.”
  • Stating, “Away from my own kind,” when asked if this racial exclusion extended into his personal life.

Kirkpatrick was fired shortly after OMG released the footage, confirming its devastating impact on State Farm’s public image. But instead of a corporate reckoning, the government appears to be targeting the whistleblowers.

Police Target Whistleblower Journalist

According to OMG founder James O’Keefe, detectives visited the home of the undercover journalist who recorded Kirkpatrick, an unmistakable act of retaliation and intimidation aimed at silencing further exposure. The visit reportedly stems from a criminal complaint filed by Kirkpatrick himself following his public disgrace and dismissal.

While details of the complaint remain vague, the implications are unmistakable: the system is once again protecting the powerful and punishing the truth-tellers.

O’Keefe denounced the move, calling it “a blatant attempt to use law enforcement to chill investigative journalism.” He added, “This is what happens when you expose racial discrimination and corporate corruption—they don’t deny the facts, they go after the messenger.”

Corporate Collusion and Lawfare in Action

The Kirkpatrick footage not only highlighted disturbing racial discrimination within a Fortune 500 company, but it also peeled back the curtain on State Farm’s manipulation of insurance markets in California. Kirkpatrick admitted that the company deliberately overexposed itself in fire-prone areas, knowing full well the risks, and then weaponized those risks to pressure regulators.

His statement:

“We’ll go to the Department of Insurance and say, ‘We’re overexposed here… you have to let us catch up our rate.’ And they’ll say, ‘Nah.’ And we’ll say, ‘Okay, then we are going to cancel these policies.’”

This is corporate coercion—using people’s homes and lives as leverage in a regulatory poker game.

Weaponizing the Justice System Against Investigative Media

Now, with Kirkpatrick disgraced and out of a job, the focus has shifted to retaliating against those who dared to tell the truth. Sending detectives to the homes of journalists is a chilling abuse of power that undermines every foundational American value: freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the public’s right to know.

It begs the question: Where is the DOJ investigation into State Farm’s discriminatory hiring practices? Where is the accountability for executives knowingly playing games with the homes and safety of Californians?

Conclusion: Whistleblowers Under Siege

In a just country, Haden Kirkpatrick would be facing federal scrutiny for racial discrimination and insurance market manipulation. Instead, it’s the journalist who’s under investigation.

This is not just about State Farm or OMG—it’s about the precedent being set: Expose powerful wrongdoing, and the state may come knocking on your door.

But make no mistake—truth cannot be handcuffed, and no amount of intimidation will stop the rising tide of independent journalism. The American people deserve the truth—and those who speak it must be protected, not persecuted.
