In a blistering appearance on Hannity, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich laid bare the lengths to which the media, left-wing judges, and bureaucrats will go to destroy President Donald Trump and derail the America First agenda.
Gingrich joined Sean Hannity for a fiery segment that blended personal anecdotes with urgent political warnings, including a direct takedown of what he called the “three great centers of resistance” still standing against the will of the American people: the propaganda media, activist judges, and the Congressional Budget Office.
“They Are Just Plain Lying”
The segment opened with a stark contrast: footage of President Trump delivering a stirring commencement speech in Alabama followed by a jumbled clip of Vice President Kamala Harris rambling about elephants.
“This may have been the cruelest thing I’ve ever seen you do,” Gingrich quipped to Hannity. “You go from Trump commanding a crowd of thousands to Kamala Harris talking nonsense… I googled elephants in preparation and still don’t know what she was talking about.”
Then Gingrich got serious.
“The propaganda media lies. Flat out. They’re going to do anything they can to defeat Trump and the Republicans—including lying about virtually everything,” he declared. “This is deliberate. It is willful.”
He cited polling firms like John McLaughlin and Matt Towery, who revealed that many mainstream polls are rigging their samples, often underrepresenting Republicans by more than 20 percentage points to skew the results.
“They’re putting Trump at 27% Republican support in polls—when he got 50% of the vote! If you add those 23 points back in, suddenly he’s in great shape. But they don’t want you to know that.”
The New Axis of Resistance: Media, Judges, and Bureaucrats
According to Gingrich, the resistance to Trump isn’t only coming from the Democratic Party but also from unelected power centers deeply entrenched in Washington.
“The last three great centers of resistance are: the propaganda media, the fake district judges, and the fake Congressional Budget Office,” he said. “They are terrified of someone like Trump who isn’t playing their game.”
He noted that Republicans are often smeared as trying to “cut” vital programs like Medicaid, even though the GOP plan increases spending annually.
“Anyone who says Republicans are cutting Medicaid is a liar. Period. The GOP plan increases it every single year.”
Trump as the Next Chapter in Conservative Revolution
Hannity drew parallels between Trump and previous conservative revolutionaries like Ronald Reagan and Gingrich himself. “There have been three waves of conservatism: the Reagan Revolution, your Contract with America, and now Donald Trump and America First.”
Gingrich agreed, arguing that Trump’s greatest threat to the establishment is his unwillingness to play by their rules.
“The establishment cannot handle a man who thinks independently, who’s not part of the club. Just like Reagan wasn’t. Just like I wasn’t. And Trump terrifies them.”
Gingrich said Trump is more than a political leader—he’s becoming a cultural force returning America to its founding values. He praised Trump’s Alabama speech as inspirational, not just political, focusing on faith, perseverance, and patriotism.
