Terror on Tape: Al-Qaeda Chief Calls for Assassinations of President Trump, VP JD Vance, and Elon Musk in Chilling Threat to U.S.
The new leader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Sa’ad bin Atef al-Awlaki, has released a 34-minute terror manifesto threatening the lives of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and several high-profile U.S. leaders, including Elon Musk, members of Trump’s Cabinet, and their families.
The video — titled “Inciting the Believers” — was released Sunday and rapidly translated and circulated across social media platforms, prompting urgent concern within the intelligence and homeland security communities.
In the message, al-Awlaki, who carries a $6 million bounty on his head, explicitly urged Muslims living in America to carry out lone-wolf style jihadist assassinations. His language was direct, threatening, and unapologetic:
“There are 4.5 million Muslims in America alone. I am saying to all of them: Revenge! Revenge! Do not consult anyone about killing infidel Americans.”
Al-Awlaki’s call to violence also included targeting Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, and anyone linked to the Trump administration — even including Elon Musk, whom he claimed is a contributor to the U.S. political and technological system.
The video glorifies past assassination attempts on President Trump and praises violent antisemitic terror attacks, further fanning the flames of radical Islamist ideology.
“Do not leave a single safe place for Jews,” the terrorist added, explicitly calling for mass attacks in the name of retribution for the war in Gaza.
The Department of Homeland Security and FBI are reportedly assessing the credibility of the threat and potential risks of domestic jihadist action, especially with the rising number of soft-target lone wolf incidents across the West.
Political figures like Laura Loomer immediately called for mass deportations of radicalized individuals, stating:
“It’s time to crack down on JIHADIS in America. MASS DEPORT ALL OF THEM!”
The AQAP remains a designated foreign terrorist organization. Yet this direct threat — naming U.S. political leaders, entrepreneurs, and their families — marks an escalation not seen since the peak of ISIS propaganda operations.
