Archbishop Viganò Declares: “I Am Still Catholic—Bergoglio Never Was Pope”
In a stunning interview with Francesco Borgonovo, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has declared that his excommunication is invalid, that Pope Francis is not the legitimate Roman Pontiff, and that the Catholic Church is undergoing a satanic infiltration meant to destroy it from within.
Still Catholic, Still Defiant
Despite his canonical excommunication, Viganò firmly maintains:
“I consider myself a full member of the Catholic Church, as Bishop and Successor of the Apostles… Schismatic is anyone who does not recognize the Authority of the Roman Pontiff: I have never failed in my Profession of the Catholic Faith.”
He categorically rejects his condemnation by what he calls an illegitimate tribunal appointed by a usurper pope—Jorge Mario Bergoglio (Pope Francis)—whom he says “never held the Roman Papacy” in any true sense.
Conclave Crisis: A Fraud in Motion?
With 136 cardinal-electors exceeding the legal limit and 108 of them appointed by Francis, Viganò warns:
“We are faced with a serious violation that alone would be enough to undermine the legitimacy of any supposedly valid Conclave.”
He calls the upcoming election a continuation of the fraud, likening the power structure within the Church to that of a rogue regime propped up by blackmail and ideology, not divine mandate.
The Ideal Pope: A Return to Pius XII
When asked to envision an ideal Pontiff, Viganò named Pope Pius XII, a spiritual leader who embodied doctrinal clarity, moral strength, and sacred dignity:
“A Pope who speaks as a Pope, acts as a Pope, dresses as a Pope… not a puppet of the World Economic Forum.”
He rejects “false humility,” innovations, and modernist ideology, calling instead for a restoration of Tradition and the integrity of Catholic Truth.
McCarrick’s Shadow Still Haunts the Church
Viganò reflects on his long-standing opposition to former Cardinal McCarrick, denouncing the entire McCarrick line of successors:
-
Cardinals Farrell, Cupich, Tobin, McElroy, Wuerl, and Gregory are named as enablers and ideological allies.
-
He accuses them of advancing woke, pro-immigration policies while entangling the Church financially with the Democratic Party and USAID.
Viganò’s strongest condemnation is reserved for Cardinal Kevin Farrell, whom he brands a drunk, financial manipulator, and co-conspirator with McCarrick, warning:
“Farrell knows all the accomplices and will maneuver the conclave by means of blackmail.”
Bergoglio’s Legacy: “Deception and Destruction”
Viganò insists that Francis never altered Catholic doctrine formally—he just rendered it irrelevant. According to the Archbishop:
“He created a liquid inclusiveness without dogmas and without ideals. He did everything possible so that no pope after him could undo what he did.”
He calls Bergoglio’s “papacy” a personal, ideological invention, stating unequivocally:
“It was never the Roman Papacy, and therefore he was not a true Pope.”
No Reconciliation, Only Resistance
Despite his expulsion from Vatican housing and the revocation of his citizenship, passport, and license, Viganò says he never abandoned the Church:
“I did not leave the Vatican mea sponte… I was cast out. That exile allowed me to speak and act freely.”
No cardinals have contacted him since his excommunication. Only a few bishops have shown private support. Still, he sees spiritual solidarity from laity and priests worldwide.
Final Warning: The Deep Church Serves the Deep State
In his most chilling conclusion, Viganò draws a straight line from sexual blackmail within the Vatican to globalist control:
“I exposed the network of complicity of the ‘deep church’—a mirror of the deep state—based on the same vile vices.”
He warns that Freemasonry, globalist elites, and ideological collaborators have hijacked the Church’s hierarchy in service to the New World Order.
The Verdict: A Sede Vacante Church in Crisis
As the Church enters a new period of sede vacante, Viganò demands that corrupt figures like Farrell be removed from power, likening them to Keith O’Brien, who withdrew from the 2013 Conclave after scandal.
He closes not in defeat—but in divine hope:
“The Church, like her Divine Master, must suffer. But the Cross is the royal road to the Resurrection. And no ideology can stop that.”
