Biden Autopen Scandal Bombshell: Key Aide Suspected of Exceeding Authority in Signing Official Documents

The Biden Autopen controversy continues to escalate, with new revelations surfacing daily.

The New York Post has exposed a major scandal after the Oversight Project’s investigation found that nearly every official document attributed to Joe Biden was signed using the same autopen device.

According to the report, the only exception was Biden’s official announcement of his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race.

Further fueling the controversy, the Oversight Project revealed that on December 30, 2022, while Biden was vacationing in St. Croix, six criminals were pardoned—each document bearing the identical autopen signature.

The situation deepened when a new analysis on Tuesday showed that Biden’s last-minute pardons on January 19, 2025, included high-profile figures such as members of his own family, Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, J6 Committee members, and Gerald Lundergan. Every single pardon carried the same unmistakable autopen signature.

Just one day before Donald Trump was set to be sworn in as the 47th U.S. president, Biden issued a wave of pardons. The Oversight Project has now determined that all of these documents were signed with the same mechanical signature, raising serious concerns about who was truly making these decisions.

According to The New York Post’s Steve Nelson, a top Biden aide may have gone beyond their authority, effectively determining which documents to robo-sign without oversight. While the Post is aware of this staffer’s identity, it has opted not to disclose their name at this time.

A former White House insider described the staffer as wielding unchecked influence, stating, “I feared no one as much as I feared that [staffer]. To me, [the staffer] basically was the president. No one ever questioned them. Period.”

This raises troubling questions about whether Biden was even involved in the decision-making process or if key documents were being signed off without his direct approval.

The New York Post obtained an internal document detailing the strict limitations now placed on autopen use under Trump’s administration. Unlike Biden’s tenure, where the mechanical signature was reportedly used liberally, Trump’s team has introduced a far more restrictive policy to ensure accountability over which documents bear the president’s signature.

The autopen scandal has also reignited concerns about Biden’s cognitive abilities in his final stretch in office. Some White House sources have indicated that a particular aide may have unilaterally decided what to sign, with colleagues unwilling to challenge their authority.

On Thursday, President Trump addressed the issue during an Oval Office meeting, openly questioning the legitimacy of the documents.

“Who was signing all this stuff?” Trump asked. “These are major documents. Almost everything was signed by autopen. Nobody has ever heard of such a thing. It should have never happened.”

The revelations have sparked growing demands for further investigation into whether key decisions made in Biden’s final days were truly his—or if an unelected staffer was calling the shots behind the scenes.
