Federal Judge Upholds CIA Firing of Biden-Era Vaccine Mandate Architect Dr. Terry Adirim

Deep State Doctor Who Enforced Pentagon Jab Mandate Shown the Door — Court Rejects Her Lawsuit

In a major victory for military freedom advocates and whistleblowers, a federal judge has ruled in favor of the CIA, allowing it to fire Dr. Terry Adirim, the Biden-era health official responsible for imposing one of the most controversial COVID-19 vaccine mandates in U.S. military history.

Dr. Adirim, who rose to prominence after signing the 2021 Pentagon directive mandating COVID-19 vaccines for all service members under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), has been officially removed from her position as Director of the CIA’s Center for Global Health Services. Her tenure in that role lasted less than six months.

The ruling came Friday from U.S. District Judge Michael Nachmanoff, a Biden appointee, who denied Adirim’s attempt to block her termination via a preliminary injunction. The judge found no merit in her due process claims and vacated a previous temporary stay.

The Architect of the “Jab Mandate”

As the acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs in 2021, Adirim authorized the use of a non-FDA-approved shot, claiming it was “interchangeable” with Pfizer’s Comirnaty—even though the latter was largely unavailable to troops.

The result: tens of thousands of servicemembers were punished, discharged, or stripped of benefits for refusing to take a vaccine they were not legally obligated to accept under EUA status. Veterans groups, attorneys, and whistleblowers have since described the policy as disastrous to both individual service members and military readiness.

“This policy destroyed lives, careers, and military families,” said military advocate Ivan Raiklin, who first brought attention to Adirim’s post-DoD role inside the CIA. “She’s finally being held accountable.”

From Pentagon to CIA—and Out

After leaving the Department of Defense, Adirim quietly transitioned to the CIA in December 2024. However, according to agency insiders, her new role sparked internal complaints—not external political pressure—as she claims.

Despite her lawsuit alleging “far-right retaliation,” the court sided firmly with the agency, stating:

“Plaintiff has failed to make a clear showing that she is likely to succeed on the merits of her stigma-plus due process claim.”

The CIA maintains her firing was for cause, based on internal evaluations and workplace issues—not political pressure.

Trump Administration Responds

President Donald Trump, who had campaigned in part on restoring the rights of discharged service members, reportedly ordered her termination in April after a surge of pressure from veterans, families, and watchdogs. The ruling now effectively closes the door on Adirim’s return to government service—at least for now.

Ivan Raiklin reacted to the ruling with a blunt message:

“Terry, YOU’RE FIRED! Not because of anything we said—but because you earned it.”

A Turning Point for Accountability?

The Adirim case represents a rare moment of legal accountability for pandemic-era officials, many of whom acted with unchecked authority during COVID-19 mandates. Her firing may signal a shift toward greater scrutiny of bureaucratic overreach, especially in national security institutions.
