Bucharest, Romania – May 20, 2025 — Romanian presidential candidate George Simion has filed a formal request with the Constitutional Court to annul the results of the May 2025 elections, alleging foreign interference, coordinated disinformation, and institutional manipulation by both France and Moldova.

Durov refused, and Simion is urging the Constitutional Court to summon Durov to testify about foreign digital interference and disinformation operations.

Simion’s accusations go beyond foreign actors.
