MTG Declines Senate Bid with Explosive Anti-Establishment Manifesto Targeting Georgia’s Ruling Class
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene just detonated a political bombshell in Georgia—not by announcing a campaign, but by burning down the political machine behind one.
In a fiery, deeply personal, and unapologetically populist statement, Greene revealed she will not run for U.S. Senate in 2026, delivering instead a scathing indictment of the GOP establishment, “fake MAGA” candidates, and elite donors she accuses of plotting behind closed doors to manipulate the grassroots and smother real conservatism.
“They’re trying to dress someone up in a MAGA costume to trick the people of Georgia,” Greene warned, referring to a gathering of Kemp-aligned powerbrokers at a luxurious Sea Island retreat.
Greene’s Message to Georgia: I Serve the People, Not the Party
From tales of her upbringing in Milledgeville to running a construction company and raising three kids, Greene painted a vivid contrast between herself and the elite class she says “doesn’t know Georgia like I do.”
“I beat eight well-funded male opponents in the 2020 primary, and the establishment’s handpicked neurosurgeon in the runoff. I don’t need their approval, and I never have.”
Though she believes she’d win both the primary and the general, Greene said the Senate is a graveyard of action, a rigged game designed to fail.
“The Senate doesn’t work. It’s designed to obstruct the will of the people and protect the Uniparty’s grip on power.”
No to Jon Ossoff, No to the Uniparty
Greene didn’t spare Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff either, branding him a “silver-spoon progressive” who would rather appease the “trans cult” than protect his own daughter.
“He’s a pawn, no different than the Republican Senators who fast-tracked Biden’s radicals while blocking Trump’s MAGA agenda.”
But she emphasized that beating Ossoff wasn’t the point. The real battle, she said, is against the system itself.
Consultants, Donors, and D.C. Elites: “Bless Your Hearts”
Throughout her declaration, Greene shredded political consultants, pollsters, and “donor-class puppets” whose only loyalty is to PAC money and superficial branding.
“Polling is a scam. Elections are now about following the money, not serving the people.”
She warned that the grassroots base is “no longer falling for it”, noting that even Trump’s endorsement can’t save consultant-approved candidates anymore.
Why She’s Not Running: “It’s About the Job, Not the Win”
While acknowledging she’s competitive, driven, and equipped to win, Greene said “winning for the party” isn’t enough. The job itself—locked in a system rigged by the Uniparty—is not where she believes she can do the most good.
“If I’m going to fight for a team, it will only be a team willing to lay it all on the line to save this country.”
Final Blow: “I’m Not Running—Start Fundraising Off Someone Else”
Greene closed with a direct shot at both Ossoff and the Republican elites:
“Jon Ossoff, stop claiming I’m your opponent. I’m not running. Start raising money off one of these other generic Republicans. Though I expect your donations will drop.”
Bottom Line: Not Running, But Still Leading
Greene’s statement wasn’t a withdrawal. It was a shot across the bow—a declaration of war on the GOP elite and a rallying cry for the populist movement she helped build.
While she may not be on the 2026 Senate ballot, Marjorie Taylor Greene just made sure every political operative in Georgia heard her loud and clear: the people see through the disguise—and they’re not buying it anymore.
