Rep. Jim Jordan Slams Radical Judge for Blocking Trump’s Deportation of Dangerous Gang Members
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan did not hold back in his criticism of radical judicial interference when he appeared on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.
Jordan called out federal judge James Boasberg for preventing President Donald Trump’s administration from deporting violent gang members—despite his past leniency on falsified documents used to target Trump during politically motivated investigations.
“Makes No Sense”: Radical Judge Protects Criminals While Targeting Trump
During the interview, Bartiromo asked Jordan about Boasberg’s decision, which effectively keeps dangerous gang members in the United States instead of allowing them to be deported.
“That’s my understanding. This judge says don’t send the hardened criminals back to where they belong. Bring them back to the country so I can evaluate them.”
Jordan pointed out the hypocrisy, highlighting how Boasberg had previously downplayed falsified documents that were used to attack Trump, yet was now protecting criminals from deportation.
“So that’s the background, and now this guy is saying let the hardened criminals come back to America. Makes no sense, this is why the American people support what President Trump is doing.”
House Republicans Move to Rein in Activist Judges
Jordan also discussed Republican efforts to curb the power of radical federal judges who issue nationwide injunctions that disrupt Trump’s America First agenda.
“We took some action a couple of weeks ago in our committee. We said these federal judges, these district federal judges who issue some kind of injunction, some kind of hearing or some kind of decision I should say, that decision should only apply to the parties of the case in that respective jurisdiction.”
This effort limits the ability of activist judges to single-handedly undermine national policy based on their own ideological biases.
FBI Subpoenas and Biden’s Weaponized DOJ
Bartiromo also asked Jordan about the seven subpoenas sent to the FBI as part of the House Judiciary Committee’s ongoing investigation into corruption and political interference under the Biden administration.
“You sent seven subpoenas to the FBI. You are trying to get into this polarization and remove politics from our law enforcement agencies. Have you heard back?”
Jordan confirmed that some responses were coming in, but drew a sharp contrast between Biden’s corrupt DOJ and new FBI leadership under Director Patel.
“Ya we have. And first of all let me just say God bless Pam Bondi. She is exactly right on this sanctuary city issue.”
“We sent subpoenas to Director Patel. He is already starting to comply. What a contrast with Chris Wray and Merrick Garland in that crazy Justice Department run under the Biden administration.”
Trump’s “America First” Agenda Faces Constant Attacks, but He Keeps Winning
Despite constant legal and bureaucratic obstruction, Trump’s policies continue gaining ground—including on issues such as immigration enforcement, FBI reform, and stopping radical DEI initiatives.
Jordan’s comments reinforce what many Americans already see happening: the deep state and radical judges are desperately trying to stop Trump from restoring order—but their grip is slipping.
