Trump Fires Back at Biden’s Chicago Speech with Blistering Immigration Rebuke

President Donald J. Trump delivered a scathing response Wednesday morning after Joe Biden emerged from political seclusion to criticize the Trump administration’s reforms during a speech in Chicago.

Biden’s address, delivered at the National Conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled, was his first major public appearance since leaving office. However, rather than focusing solely on disability issues, Biden used the stage to take aim at Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — accusing them of wreaking havoc on the nation’s safety net and targeting vulnerable communities.

Biden’s Attack: “They’re Breaking Things”

Biden took particular issue with DOGE’s rapid dismantling of bureaucratic inefficiencies, saying:

“They’re following that old line from tech startups. The quote is move fast, break things. They’re certainly breaking things.”

He accused the Trump administration of placing “psychological pressure” on Americans through their economic reforms and implied that the administration’s early actions have caused “devastating” harm.

At one point, the 82-year-old began yelling out of nowhere:

“It’s about dignity. Simple dignity! Everyone! Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity… regardless of who they are!”

Trump Responds: “THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY”

President Trump wasted no time in firing back, taking to Truth Social Wednesday morning with a fierce counterattack, branding Biden as the “worst president in the history of the United States.”

In his statement, Trump highlighted what he described as Biden’s intentional sabotage of American security, especially on the immigration front:

“Sleepy Joe Biden, THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, has allowed millions and millions of criminals, many of them murderers, drug dealers, and people released from prisons and mental institutions from all around the world, to enter our Country through its very dangerous and ill-conceived Open Border.”

Trump continued:

“Sorry, but it’s my job to get these killers and thugs out of here. THAT’S WHAT I GOT ELECTED TO DO. MAGA!”

What This Signals

Biden’s sudden return to the spotlight — paired with Trump’s swift and scalding rebuttal — marks a new phase in the political clash between the two leaders, signaling the possible ramp-up of early 2026 campaign narratives.

While Biden insists the Trump administration’s budget cuts and enforcement priorities are heartless, Trump’s messaging remains laser-focused: restoring law, order, and security for American citizens first.

With public opinion deeply divided and immigration remaining a top concern among voters, the stage is set for another explosive political showdown — and neither man appears willing to back down.
